NAPS SLC KOGI STATE MOURNS EX-GOVERNOR ALHAJI IBRAHIM IDRIS WHO DIED AT 77.
The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), State Liaising Council (SLC), Kogi State, under the leadership of Comr. Adams Jemilat Ohunene (CNPS), has mourned the passing of former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, who reportedly died at the age of 77. In a condolence statement released through the Council's media office on Sunday, the association said it received the news of the demise of the former governor, popularly known as Ibro, with deep shock and sadness. The Council described the late Ibrahim Idris as a father, statesman and iconic leader who served Kogi State meritoriously and left indelible footprints in the sands of time. According to the statement, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris served Kogi State for almost nine years, from 2003 to 2012, and his administration witnessed massive infrastructural transformation across the state.
