Yaba Flags Off Scholarship Payment for NECO Candidates in Lokoja

  Hon. A.A. Yaba Maisaka has flagged off the payment of National Examination Council (NECO) registration fees for selected students in Lokoja Local Government Area, as part of his commitment to educational development and grassroots empowerment. The scholarship payment commenced with students of Muslim Community Secondary School Lokongoma , Al-Ansar Secondary School, New Layout, and Government Girls Secondary School, Sarkin Noma. The registration fees, which range between N50,000 and N60,000 per student, are being paid for beneficiaries drawn from different wards across Lokoja Local Government Area. According to Maisaka, the beneficiaries were carefully selected from among less privileged students and orphans, while another category of beneficiaries emerged on merit, based on outstanding academic performance and recommendations from their school principals.
