GENTLE FOR LOKOJA: TEAM GRACE VOWS TOTAL SUPPORT AHEAD OF OCTOBER 2026 POLLS

On a resounding note of solidarity and commitment to continuity and renewal, Team Grace has thrown its full weight behind Hon. Abdulrahman Hussein Gentle as Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area.



This declaration was made during an extensive strategic meeting of Team Grace held on 6th September 2026 ahead of the forthcoming Chairmanship Election scheduled for October this year, and in support of other Candidates contesting under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC across Kogi State.


The team expressed firm confidence in the leadership capacity of all APC candidates, noting that their track record and vision align with the yearnings of the people for sustainable development, peace, and good governance in Kogi State.


Speaking on behalf of the team, the Convener and Coordinator, Hon. Grace Momoh emphasized that Team Grace is fully mobilized and ready to work round the clock to ensure resounding victories for all APC candidates at the polls.


According to her, the group is embarking on aggressive grassroots sensitization, door-to-door campaigns, and voter education across all wards to deliver maximum votes for the continuity and fresh leadership agenda.


Hon. Grace further described Hon. Abdulrahman Hussein Gentle is a leader who believes in "leadership by action and not by words."

 She noted that his antecedents reflect selfless service, humility, and a proven commitment to the welfare of the people of Lokoja.

She added that the choice of Hon. Abdulrahman Hussein Gentle and His Excellency, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo FCA for continuity as the Executive  Governor of Kogi State alongside other APC flag bearers across Kogi State and, in extension, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) represents stability, progress, and inclusive governance that Kogi people deserve. 

She called on members of Team Grace and well-meaning citizens of Lokoja to remain united and committed to the success of the mission.

Team Grace reiterated its assurance of maximum mobilization, unwavering support, and total commitment towards ensuring victory for the APC in the October polls, stressing that purposeful leadership and grassroots commitment are key to the development of Kogi State.

NAPS VP Comr Ibrahim Dende Praises Gov Ododo for Delivering on Security Promises

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), has commended His Excellency,  the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, for unveiling security drones to combat insecurity in Kogi State. In a statement, the NAPS VP National Affairs Comr Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende hailed Governor Ododo for matching his words with actions, saying the move demonstrates his commitment to ensuring peace and stability in the state.
