NANS JCC KOGI STATE AXIS REJECTS ₦5,500 PORTAL FEE IMPOSED BY KOGI STATE POLYTECHNIC, LOKOJA






 PRESS RELEASE

The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Council (JCC), Kogi State Axis, hereby rejects the recently imposed ₦5,500 portal fee by the Management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.

As the apex student body representing the interests and welfare of students in Kogi State, we consider the fee an additional financial burden on students and call on the Polytechnic Management to revert the ₦5,500 portal fee within the shortest possible time and in the overall interest of the students.

The welfare of students remains our foremost priority, and NANS JCC Kogi State Axis will continue to stand firmly against policies that impose undue financial burdens on the student community.

We urge all students to remain calm, peaceful and patient as we continue to monitor the situation and pursue every legitimate avenue to protect their interests.

We assure the entire student community that your welfare is our priority, your interest is our mandate, and your voice will never be ignored.

NAPS VP Comr Ibrahim Dende Praises Gov Ododo for Delivering on Security Promises

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), has commended His Excellency,  the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, for unveiling security drones to combat insecurity in Kogi State. In a statement, the NAPS VP National Affairs Comr Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende hailed Governor Ododo for matching his words with actions, saying the move demonstrates his commitment to ensuring peace and stability in the state. "Governor Ododo has proven to be a true leader, taking bold steps to address the security challenges facing our state," the statement read.
