The Students Leaders, in kogi disengaged from the National Proposed Protest, Assure Gov Ododo of Peaceful Resolution in our Various Institutions.

The Student leaders in Kogi State have assured Governor Ododo of their commitment to a peaceful resolution, following a meeting with the Auditor General of Local Government, Hon Yakubu Adabenege (Fancy), representing the Kogi State Governor His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo FCA at on the 6th of September 2024.

The Proposed Protest on September 15th, 2024  was planned by the other part of NANS National Organization headed by Comr Pedro Chibuzo Pedro to hit up the streets upon the recent fuel pump increments, the students community leaders in kogi state have agreed to discontinue the protest, citing the Governor's willingness to engage in dialogue and address their concerns.

 This meeting was captured by students leader's, stakeholders and advocates of the ten own institutions in kogi state which includes: The Honorable Commissioner for Youth's and Sport Development Hon Monday A Anyebe, the SSA to Kogi State Governor on Students Affair Hon Emmanuel Ojonuwene Mario, SSA to Kogi State Governor on Youths and Women Mobilization Hon Charity Ijese, the Delegates of NANS Zone C head by the Deputy Coordinator Comr Alooma Idris, the NANS JCC i in kogi state head by her Chairman Comr Gomina Ahmed Kabir (CNS), the NAKOSS head by her President Dr. Jeremiah Elukpo, The Delegates of North Central Indigenous Students head by her Secretary General Comr Usman Ibrahim Dende, SUG President of various operating Institutions all in attendance.

  Lots of highlights, insights and attributes was pen down and discussed at the meeting which includes the request for shuttles across the ten institutions in kogi state to ease the transportation costs, reduce of the commodities within the campus terran, the reduce in the increments of tuition fees .

"We are pleased to announce that we have reached a mutually beneficial understanding with the Governor's representative, Hon Yakubu Adabenege (Fancy)," said the student leaders. "We appreciate the Governor's commitment to listening to our concerns and working towards a peaceful resolution." SSA to Kogi State Governor on Students Affair, Hon Emmanuel Mario.

The student leaders commended Governor Ododo for his leadership and commitment to the welfare of students in Kogi State, stating, "We believe that dialogue and collaboration are essential in resolving issues, and we look forward to working with the Governor to address our concerns.", Said the Honorable Commissioner, Hon Monday A Anyebe.

    They also assured the Governor as the are warming up on a Campus tour round the institutions in kogi state to pop up the situation reports and challenges faced over.

They applaud him for the punctual payment of the Students Bursary,  Subventions, Scholarships that are really driving the state to a developmental milestones.
