GOVERNMENT MUST ACT NOW:NAPS Senate President Condemns Felele-Ganaja Highway Accident

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) Senate President Comr Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende strongly condemns the recent tragic accident along the Felele-Ganaja highway, which claimed the lives of our students. This devastating incident is a stark reminder of the dire need for improved road safety measures in our community.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of young lives, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims. However, our condolences are not enough.

Therefore, We demand action from our government to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.

The Felele-Ganaja highway has become a death trap, claiming numerous lives due to its deplorable condition. We urge the government to take immediate action to address this issue. We demand that the government provides a comprehensive plan to repair and maintain the Felele-Ganaja highway within the next 48 hours.

Failure to do so will result in a shutdown of Lokoja, as we can no longer stand idly by while our students' lives are put at risk. We will not tolerate any further negligence or inaction from our government.

We call on all stakeholders, including the government, road safety agencies, and the community, to join us in demanding immediate action to improve road safety in our state.

It's time for change, and we demand that our government takes concrete steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and community.
