Mohab People's Care Foundation paid a courtesy visit to the DLG Lokoja LGA




The organization seeks Robust partnership 
with the local government



 


The Chairman of Mohab People's Care Foundation Mohammed Abubakar (Chukwuemeka) led the delegation for a courtesy visit to Lokoja Local Government secretariat in ensuring a more effective management of humanitarian activities in the state especially at local government level and welfare of the less privileged and downtrodden. 


He made this known on Tuesday when he led the team of MOHAB FOUNDATION for a courtesy visit to the Director of Local Government Hon. Aliyu Musa Omuwa.



 Chukwuemeka Mohammed stated that owing to the vision of the Organisation, it is imperative that it seeks collaboration and partnership with the state and all the local governments which is the government at the grassroot level starting with Lokoja LGA so as to achieve greater heights in seeing a healthy, gender balanced, prosperous and productive society that lives in a conducive environment where there is love and respect for humanity is made priority. 


Mohammed added that the organisation has continually carried out several health program's, scholarship schemes, and innovative summits to the vulnerable communities and also provided support for the less privileged and vulnerable in the society among others. Hence, there's is a need for robust partnership.


Mohammed, also added that the NGO had watched closely the humanitarian drive of the council towards enhanced commitment and support to humanity.


In his reaction, The Director Local Government Alhaji Aliyu Musa Omuwa has expressed the readiness of his office to partner with organisations whose visions is to smile on the faces of the vulnerable Nigerians and support to the livelihood of person's of Concern.


Alhaji Omuwa also commended Mohab People Care Foundation for their commitment in the discharge of their diligent services without compromise, encouraging the team to keep up with the tempo.


Also speaking, the leader of the organization thanked Alhaji Omuwa (DLG) and stressed the need for love and respect for humanity in building a better society, adding that if quality attention is given to the younger generation, the glory of Lokoja and indeed kogi state will be greater than what is recorded. 


Highlights of the visit include a profile document and some achievements of the organization was presented to the DLG on behalf of the council.
