NANS JCC KOGI STATE FELICITATES HON PRINCE DELE ISELEWA ON APPOINTMENT AS KOGI STATE COORDINATOR ON SAFETY STANDARD REGULATIONS AND COMPLIANCE





The Chairman National Association of Nigerian Students NANS Joint Campus Council Kogi State,  Comr Ojo Samuel Adeoye CNS warmly congratulates Hon Prince Dele Iselewa, the Senior Special Assistant SSA to the Kogi State Governor on Students Affairs Kogi West, on his appointment as the new Kogi State Coordinator on Safety Standard Regulations and Compliance.

In his statement through his Chief Press Secretary Comr Jaye Jafe added that this appointment reflects the confidence His Excellency Alh Ahmed Ododo, the Chief Servant of Kogi State, has in young leaders who have shown commitment to public service. Since his assumption of office as SSA on Students Affairs, Hon Iselewa has consistently bridged communication between the state government and students across Kogi West and beyond. His interventions on campus peace, welfare concerns, and policy engagement have earned him the trust of student leaders and administrators alike.


As Coordinator on Safety Standard Regulations and Compliance, Hon Iselewa will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and enforcement of safety protocols across public and private institutions, workplaces, and public facilities in Kogi State. The role demands vigilance, fairness, and collaboration with stakeholders to prevent hazards and ensure that safety standards align with both national guidelines and local realities.


 

NANS JCC Kogi State believes that Hon Iselewa’s firsthand experience with student communities positions him uniquely to enforce safety standards without alienating students and institutions. We expect that his leadership will prioritize preventive measures, regular inspections, awareness campaigns, and responsive dispute resolution mechanisms.


We call on student leaders, school management, labour unions, and civil society organizations to cooperate with the new coordinator in discharging his duties. Safety is a collective responsibility, and the success of this office will depend on open dialogue and shared commitment to protecting lives and property
