HON JIBRIN ALOMA ENTHUSE GOV ODODO, LOKOJA APC FELICITATED ON EID FITRI

The APC Chairman Lokoja Local Government, Hon Jibril Kasim Idris aka Aloma, has extended his warmest congratulations to Kogi State Governor His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, and the people of Lokoja Local Government on the joyous occasion of Eid Fitri.

In a statement, Hon Aloma quoted the Quranic verse: 'Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good' (Surah Al-Nahl, 16:128).

He also cited a Hadith: 'The best of deeds is the prayer on its due time, and kindness to parents' (Sahih Bukhari).


Hon Aloma prayed for peace, unity, and progress in Kogi State and Lokoja Local Government, wishing everyone a joyous Eid Fitri celebration.


The APC Chairman urged Muslims to embody the values of compassion, kindness, and forgiveness, and to continue praying for the nation's peace and prosperity.


"I also pray that the Almighty Allah guides our leaders, especially His Excellency Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo, to continue steering Kogi State towards greatness, and that our local government officials continue to serve with integrity and dedication," Hon Aloma added.


Eid Fitri celebrations are ongoing across Kogi State, with prayers and festivities marking the end of Ramadan.

  The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) vehemently condemns the protracted and unjust detention of Abdulhameed Sadiq, a recent graduate of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja and a full supporter of this great administration , known as "KogiBorn." For five months, Mr. Sadiq has been held without trial or conviction, ostensibly due to a Facebook post critiquing the conduct of the Kogi State Accountant General toward public service holder's.
