The National Association of Lokoja Local Government Students (NALLGS) has honored outstanding personalities and stakeholders who have made significant contributions to education, security, and health in Kogi State at the 2025 Week Finale Gala Awards held on 18th December 2025 .


The Program which brought personalities from far and near to spicy the program. Among them are: the Executive Governor of Kogi State His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo FCA ably represented by the Special Adviser on youths and Student Matters Hon Oladele John Nihi, the Executive Chairman Lokoja LGA Comr Abdullahi Adamu ably represented by the Supervising Councilor Works Comr Babakudi, the Maigari of Lokoja Alhaji Muhammed Ibrahim Gambo Maikarfi IV (Baagardojhi),  the Board Member, North Central Development Commission NCDC and Gabi of Lokoja Alhaji  Suleiman Baba Ali (Daniya), the Executive Secretary Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supplies Management Agency Pharm. Salamat Onize Ibrahim, the Secretary Lokoja LGA Hon Mohammed Danjuma, the Special Adviser on Surveillance Chief Iweha O. Empire, NALLGS Past President, Past Senate President and other Ex- Officios of the Organization all presents.


  Other who turn up their voice with their presence are: the National Association of Nigeria Student (NANS), the NAPS, NYCN, the NAKOSS, the Oworo Students Union (OSU), the NAES amongst others

Speaking at the event, NALLGS National President, Comr. Abdulmalik Salihu, said the association is celebrating the threads that bind communities and the collective effort that turns them into a vibrant tapestry of progress.


Comr. Abdulmalik thanked stakeholders, including ministries, development partners, and academic institutions, for their unwavering support and contributions to the event. 


He recognized the Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Comr. Abdullahi Adamu, for donating an office space to serve as the National Secretariat, saying it exemplifies the spirit of partnership that makes the growth of the association 🚀.


Also appreciate the Maigari of Lokoja HRH, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Muhammed Maikarfi IV (Bagaardojhi for been a pace setter towards the peaceful coexistence of our dear lokoja methropolis.


The association has recorded remarkable achievements across its national offices, including having members who are the NANS Zone C Secretary-General, the NAPS Vice President, the NANS JCC Chairman Kogi State, and the Mass Communication MACOSA President of Federal University Lokoja 🎉.


Comr. Abdulmalik announced the launch of a fundraising drive to raise 10 million Naira to support key projects advancing education, security, and health in the nation 💪.



The event featured a keynote speech, panelist discussion on "Empowering Communities: Collaborative Efforts for Sustainable Development", captivating cultural displays showcasing Lokoja's rich heritage, and a comedy night that left guests in stitches 😂.
