CNG Kogi State Coordinator Extends Eid Moulud Greetings to Muslims
The State Coordinator of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) Kogi State Comr Salau Enesi Habib has extended warm Eid Moulud greetings to Muslims across the state and Nigeria. The celebration commemorates the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement, Comr Habib prayed for the spiritual growth, harmony, and progress of the Muslim community in Kogi State and Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and progress, urging Muslims to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.
He equally quoted the Quranic verse: "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided" (Surah Al Imran, 3:103), highlighting the importance of unity among Muslims. He also referenced the Hadith: "A Muslim is a brother to another Muslim. He neither wrongs him nor leaves him without help" (Sahih Muslim), emphasizing the need for mutual support and solidarity within the Muslim community.
"May the spirit of Eid Moulud inspire unity, peace, and progress for all Nigerians, particularly in Kogi State," Comr Habib said.
I wish all Muslims in Kogi State and Nigeria a blessed Eid Moulud celebration, filled with joy, peace, and spiritual fulfillment. May this occasion bring us closer to Allah and to each other, and may we emerge stronger and more united in our pursuit of progress and prosperity. Ameen.
