Comrade Babangida Isah Declares Intention to Contest for NYCN National President




In a bold move towards national youth leadership, Comrade Babangida Isah has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).


The declaration was made during the Northern States Forum, where youth leaders and stakeholders gathered to deliberate on the future of youth representation in the country. In his address, Comrade Isah emphasized his commitment to unity, progressive leadership, and the advancement of Nigerian youths across all regions.


Shortly after, he also made notable contributions during an extraordinary NYCN meeting, where electoral matters and other critical issues affecting the council were discussed. His active participation and clear stance on transparency and inclusivity were well received by fellow delegates.


Speaking after the meeting, Comrade Isah expressed gratitude for the support he has received so far, calling on Nigerians — especially the youth — to join hands in shaping a better future.


> “By the grace of God, we are on this journey together. I seek your prayers, encouragement, and active participation as we approach the Congress on the 7th of October,” he stated.




The upcoming NYCN Congress, scheduled for October 7th, is expected to be a pivotal moment in determining the next chapter of youth leadership in Nigeria. Observers believe that with his grassroots experience and proven dedication, Comrade Babangida Isah could be a formidable contender in the race.
