Hon. Yaba Maisaka Extends Sallah Greetings to Governor Ododo, Former Governor Bello, Maigari of Lokoja, and People of Kogi state

In the spirit of unity and festivity, Hon. A. A. Yaba Maisaka has extended his heartfelt greetings to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, former Governor Yahaya Bello, and His Royal Highness, Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi, as well as the good people of Lokoja and Kogi State on the joyous occasion of this year’s Sallah Eid celebration.


Hon. Maisaka, a philanthropist and two-time aspirant for the Lokoja Local Government Chairman seat, lauded the peaceful and harmonious atmosphere in which the Muslim faithful in Kogi State observed the Eid celebration. He emphasized the importance of unity, love, and compassion, urging the people to continue fostering peaceful coexistence in the state.


In his goodwill message, Hon. Yaba expressed profound appreciation for the continued  support and commitment of  Hon. Commisoner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Hon Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, the Rt. Hon. Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Aliyu Assignment, and Hon. Danladi Aguye (MHR) He commended their dedication to supporting the Muslim Ummah across Lokoja and Koto Karfe, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid celebrations.


“As we mark this special occasion, I extend my deepest gratitude to our leaders and stakeholders who have continually supported and uplifted our people. The contributions of Hon. Engr. Bashir Gegu, the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Hon. Aliyu Assignment,  Hon. Danladi Aguye and Lokoja LGA Executive Chairman, Hon Abdullahi Adamu in ensuring that the spirit of Sallah is felt across Lokoja and Koto Karfe cannot be overlooked,” he said.


Hon. Maisaka, known for his philanthropic efforts, has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of the people of Lokoja. Over the years, he has provided financial assistance, Ramadan packages, and other essential support to numerous families, ensuring that they partake in the joy of the festive period. His generosity and dedication to humanity continue to earn him admiration from various quarters.


He urged the Muslim faithful to embrace the values of patience, sacrifice, and gratitude, which Sallah symbolizes. He further called on leaders at all levels to prioritize the well-being of the people and work towards the collective progress of Kogi State.


“As we celebrate, let us remember the essence of Sallah – love, unity, and selflessness. May this celebration bring renewed hope, blessings, and prosperity to all,” he added.


Hon. Maisaka reaffirmed his commitment to serving and uplifting the people of Lokoja, assuring them of his continuous efforts to support development initiatives that will enhance their quality of life. He also prayed for continued peace, stability, and progress in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
