SUG President CONO Hails Governor Ododo's One Year Achievements, Commends Support for Medical Students

The SUG President of Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery Obangede, Comr Asun Rachel Ahuoyiza, has congratulated the Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo FCA, on his one year anniversary in office.


According to reports, Comr Ahuoyiza commended Governor Ododo's leadership and commitment to education, healthcare, and youth empowerment. She specifically praised his support for medical students, including students' bursary, which has been a significant boost to their academic pursuits.


Governor Ododo's administration has been credited with notable progress in various sectors, including infrastructure development, agricultural productivity, and job creation.


Comr Ahuoyiza's statement was made available to newsmen in Lokoja, the state capital.

PRESS STATEMENT: UNLAWFUL DETENTION OF KOGI STATE POLYTECHNIC GRADUATE, ABDULHAMEED SADIQ: AN URGENT CALL FOR INTERVENTION BY THE KOGI STATE GOVERNOR

  The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) vehemently condemns the protracted and unjust detention of Abdulhameed Sadiq, a recent graduate of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja and a full supporter of this great administration , known as "KogiBorn." For five months, Mr. Sadiq has been held without trial or conviction, ostensibly due to a Facebook post critiquing the conduct of the Kogi State Accountant General toward public service holder's.
