Amidst high inflation and skyrocketing cost of living in the Country, the people of Kogi remain unbothered and find no reason to involve in activities capable of disturbing the relative peace and serenity enjoyed in the state .


You see, good Governance is not rocket science as make believe.  It is All about political will and Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo is A reference figure to that . 


Now the reason why Kogi has managed to remain peaceful and one of the fastest developing state in Nigeria is because Gov. Ododo, has chosen his priorities right and top on the list is the SECURITY: welfare , wellbeing,Business and General livelihood of the people. 


All though the price of food and essential commodities continues to soar high in the country , the State Capital of Kogi , Lokoja is Sadly not  excused. But , if the Governor can find a way around harmonizing food prices by A way of encouraging “selling of Kogi Produce in Kogi state” while discouraging external influences as determinant force In our market, it will go A long direction in making kogi not only the safest place also the most affordable state in the country in terms of food security.

Ododo approved the staggering sum of 72,500 As one of the first Governors to not only approve but implement the New wage,  He has also grant an increased Harmonization allowance to pensioners,This last happened in 2004.  While also acknowledging the enrollment of retired civil Servants into the State Health insurance scheme , for accessibility to healthcare. Gov. Ododo is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to bettering the live of Kogites . 


Little wonder one of his favorite quotes is “Kogi have No Business with poverty “


Just like Bad Governance is not A respecter of Nobody, Good Governance also knows No Boundaries. 


This is A New Kogi state where State Civil Servants salaries are being paid on or before 25th of the Month .  Thuggery reduced to nothing and Youth and women inclusiveness wholeheartedly embraced in Government.

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) Senate President Comr Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende strongly condemns the recent tragic accident along the Felele-Ganaja highway, which claimed the lives of our students. This devastating incident is a stark reminder of the dire need for improved road safety measures in our community. We are deeply saddened by the loss of young lives, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims. However, our condolences are not enough. Therefore, We demand action from our government to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.
