Democracy Day: NANS Kogi State JCC Chairman Hails the Olympic heroes of the Regenerative Nigeria

 .







     The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council Kogi State Axis Comr Ahmad Kabir Gomina CNS has urged Nigerian Students to be on the alert against anti democratic forces saying “We must guard our democracy jealously.”


“By deliberate efforts and design, Nigerians opted for the presidential system of democracy because it is participatory and representative enough. It is a way of life that must be held sacrosanct, “ Comr Gomina stated in his goodwill message to Nigerians to commemorate the June 12 struggle.


    He added that the stability journey to Democratic landslide victory,  while whispering that  the Nigeria Students    must wake up to their responsibility and tackle the menace headlong.”


    Gomina advocated for the need to strengthen democratic institutions in the state “so that the practice of democracy should not be at the dictates or the whims and caprices of a few individuals who think they will lord it over the general public but the wishes of the people.”




Gomina added that “Democracy should be our way of life. It is freedom to exercise our franchise in an uninterrupted environment. 



     He equally commends  his Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo CIA the Executive Governor of Kogi state for rebranding the Democracy in Kogi state through landscaping innovations, capital development, youths and Students inclusiveness while assuring him of maximum supports from the Nigeria Students in ensuring a gigantic administration ascertain.



    While congratulating Nigeria students on 2024 Democracy Day, urge them to continue preaching the gospel of our heroes through practices and humanity.
