KOGI STATE WOMEN COMMENDS YAHAYA BELLO FOR HIS OUTSTANDING STEWARDSHIP TOWARDS WOMEN EMPOWERMENT POLITICALLY SINCE HIS EMERGED

     The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Women Affairs Hajiya Asmau Gogo Ohikere Led about  Thousand of Kogi  Women across the State on a road walk in appreciating his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello CON the Executive Governor of Kogi State for his resilience rebuild and renounced support towards upliftment of women politically in governance.


    The event which commence from the the Mohammed Buhari Square Lokoja at exactly 9:00am  down to Kogi State Government house with the tag named: “GYB, Our Hero”, it lasted for more than four hours.




    While speaking with the press, Hajiya Asmau Gogo:“ it has never been in the history of Kogi State and North Central region where the Governor of a state make availability of 35% of women in his administration to be empowered politically.


   She furthermore added that:“ on 21 Vice Chairmen and Council leaders are women, most ministries, agencies and high Institutions are headed by women in courtesy of Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, the White Lion.



     The team were received on behalf of his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Mrs. Folashade ayoale Arike at the Government house.


  She applauded the women for making this day a free day in appreciating the working talking Governor of Kogi State who believe on women politicking.


     In addition, she commend Hajiya Gogo  for always using her office as an emperor to women since her appointment.


    She assured the women on behalf of his Excellency that the next Administration Will top up women by additional percentage in ensuring the voice is heard in a high voltage.




     While appreciating them, urge them to always preach the gospel of APC to other women, as the party is honoured as a detribalized and gender centralized body which his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello CON has practically shown.
