NYCN Coordinator lokoja local government chapter Commends Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for Prioritizing Workers' Welfare and Sustaining Peace in Kogi State

 





The Coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lokoja Local Government Chapter, Comrade Salihu Ahmed Yarima, has commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, for what he described as the administration's unwavering commitment to workers' welfare and the promotion of lasting peace across the state.


Speaking with journalists in Lokoja the state capital, Comrade Yarima praised Governor Ododo for ensuring the regular and prompt payment of workers' salaries, describing the policy as a clear demonstration of responsible leadership and genuine concern for the well-being of civil servants and their families.


According to him, the governor's consistent payment of salaries, alongside various welfare initiatives for workers, has improved productivity in the public service, boosted morale, and strengthened confidence in the state government.


He further applauded Governor Ododo for maintaining a peaceful and secure environment in Lokoja, the state capital, noting that the prevailing peace has encouraged businesses to thrive, attracted investment, and enabled residents to go about their daily activities without fear.


Comrade Yarima also stated that the administration's commitment to peace and security has enhanced social and economic development, making Lokoja one of the safest and most conducive environments for residents, workers, and visitors.


He urged the people of Kogi State, especially the youth, to continue supporting Governor Ododo's administration in its efforts to deliver sustainable development, strengthen security, and improve the welfare of citizens.


The Lokoja NYCN Coordinator reaffirmed the council's readiness to partner with the Kogi State Government on programmes and initiatives aimed at youth empowerment, peacebuilding, community development, and good governance.


He concluded by expressing confidence that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's people-oriented policies would continue to bring greater progress and prosperity to Kogi State.

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), has commended His Excellency,  the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, for unveiling security drones to combat insecurity in Kogi State.
