AYCC Kogi State Coordinator Amb. Ibrahim Dende Re-Appoints Muhammed Saeed as Secretary General, Boluwatife as Director of Media and Publication.
Appoints Fmr Speaker KYPL Solomon Ademola as Zonal Coordinator Kogi West, Former Student Leaders Gomina Ahmad Kabir and Philip Enyoojo Zaachariah as Zonal Coordinators for Kogi Central and Kogi East; Charges Appointees to Remain Steadfast in Taking the Organization to Greater Heights.
The Coordinator of the Arewa Youths Consultative Council (AYCC), Kogi State Chapter, Amb. Usman Ibrahim Dende, has re-appointed Comr. Muhammed Saeed as the Secretary General of the organization and Comr. Balogun Boluwatife as the Director of Media and Publication.
The appointments, according to the Kogi State Coordinator, are based on the individuals’ proven commitment, leadership capacity, experience, loyalty and dedication to the growth and development of the Council. Their previous contributions to youth engagement, organizational coordination and community development were also considered in arriving at the decisions.
In a related development, Amb. Usman Ibrahim Dende has appointed Former Hon. Speaker KYPL Solomon Ademola as the Zonal Coordinator for Kogi West, while Gomina Ahmad Kabir, a former student leader, has been appointed as the Zonal Coordinator for Kogi Central. Similarly, Amb. Philip Enyoojo Zaachariah, also a former student leader, has been appointed as the Zonal Coordinator for Kogi East.
The new appointments are expected to further strengthen the organizational structure of AYCC across the three senatorial districts of Kogi State and enhance effective grassroots coordination, youth mobilization, stakeholder engagement and the implementation of the Council’s programmes and initiatives.
While congratulating the appointees, the AYCC Kogi State Coordinator charged them to see their new responsibilities as a call to greater service, sacrifice and commitment. He urged them to remain steadfast, disciplined and dedicated to the ideals of the organization, stressing that the success of AYCC depends largely on the collective commitment of its leadership and members.
Amb. Usman Ibrahim Dende further called on the newly appointed officials to work collaboratively, maintain unity of purpose and ensure that the Council continues to serve as a strong platform for youth development, empowerment, leadership advancement and meaningful community engagement across Kogi State.
He expressed confidence in the abilities of the appointees, describing their selection as a step towards repositioning AYCC for greater impact and visibility. He urged them to bring their wealth of experience, networks and leadership skills to bear in their respective assignments.
The AYCC Kogi State Coordinator equally encouraged the new zonal coordinators to establish strong relationships with youths, community leaders, student leaders, civil society actors and other relevant stakeholders within their respective senatorial districts.
He charged the entire AYCC leadership to remain united and focused on the organization’s vision, while assuring that the Council under his leadership would continue to provide the necessary support and direction for all its coordinators and officials.
The appointments take effect immediately, as the new appointees are expected to commence their respective responsibilities towards building a stronger, more coordinated and impactful AYCC in Kogi State.
