NANS JCC Kogi State Chairman Comr Adeoye CNS Hails Emergence of BABTEE, Ibb as NANS National Leaders.
The Chairman of the Joint Campus Council (JCC) of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Kogi State Axis Comr Ojo Samuel Adeoye CNS has issued a separate statement congratulating the newly elected national leadership of NANS after the 2026 National Convention in Abuja
Adeoye commended the delegates for conducting what he described as a peaceful and credible election that produced Comr. Akinteye Babatunde, popularly known as BABTEE, as NANS National President, and Comr. Ibeabuchi Moses Onyia, known as Mosline Ibb, as National Senate President.
He said the outcome of the convention demonstrates the trust Nigerian students have in the capacity of the new leaders to defend student interests, foster unity, and provide direction at a time when the education sector faces several challenges.
“The success of this convention shows that students are ready for leadership that is focused, inclusive, and accountable. I believe BABTEE and Ibb have the experience and commitment to meet these expectations,” Adeoye stated.
The JCC Chairman also extended congratulations to other elected executives who emerged alongside the president and senate president, urging them to work as a united team for the benefit of students across the country.
He called on the new leadership to prioritize issues such as academic stability, student welfare, campus security, and prompt resolution of academic-related disputes. According to him, effective engagement with the government and school authorities will be key to achieving results.
“On behalf of NANS JCC Kogi State, I wish the entire team a successful tenure. We look forward to working closely with you to ensure that the voices of students in Kogi State and across Nigeria are heard and addressed,” He added.
NANS JCC Kogi State reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the national leadership in advancing policies that promote the welfare and academic progress of Nigerian students.
