2027 ELECTION: CONCERNED YOUTHS AND STUDENTS FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE DRUM SUPPORT FOR COMR. AYUBA HASSAN FOR OLAMABORO STATE CONSTITUENCY.

The political temperature ahead of the 2027 general elections is gradually rising, and in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, a decisive move has just been made by the youth and student constituency.


The Concerned Youths and Students for Good Governance, a formidable advocacy platform led by its Convener, Comr. Sanni Ojonugwa Fidelis has formally endorsed Comr. Ayuba Hassan for the position of Member, Kogi State House of Assembly representing Olamaboro State Constituency in 2027.


The endorsement, which was announced after an expanded stakeholders’ meeting of students and youth leaders across the wards of Olamaboro, was described as a product of wide consultation, track record assessment, and the urgent need for credible legislative representation.



Speaking on behalf of the group, Comr. Sanni Ojonugwa Fidelis stated that Comr. Ayuba Hassan represents the new breed of leadership. The constituency desperately needs a leader who understands the language of the streets, the struggles of students, and the aspirations of the rural majority. He noted that Ayuba’s history in student unionism and community advocacy stands him out as a man with capacity, courage, and compassion.


“Olamaboro cannot afford another four years of representation without results,” Fidelis declared. “We have found in Comr. Ayuba Hassan is a comrade who is tested, trusted, and prepared. He is accessible, articulate, and allergic to failure. Our endorsement is not sentimental; it is strategic. We are putting the future of Olamaboro in the hands of one of our own.”


The group further called on political stakeholders, traditional rulers, and the generality of Olamaboro people to rally behind Comr. Ayuba Hassan, describing him as a unifier with the legislative temperament to sponsor quality bills, attract constituency projects, and give Olamaboro a strong voice in the Kogi State House of Assembly.


In the same vein, the Concerned Youths and Students for Good Governance passionately appeal to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, FCA; the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo; and other necessary stakeholders in Kogi East and Olamaboro Local Government to look in the direction of Comr. Ayuba Hassan. His aspiration embodies the yearnings of the youth and student population, and his emergence will strengthen the consolidation agenda of the present administration in Olamaboro.


According to the Convener, the Concerned Youths and Students for Good Governance will, in the coming weeks, commence ward-to-ward mobilisation, town hall engagements, and student campus tours to consolidate support for Ayuba Hassan’s aspiration.


As 2027 draws closer, one thing is becoming clear in Olamaboro: the youths and students have spoken, and they are queuing behind Comr. Ayuba Hassan.
