MADAMI FELICITATES GOV ODODO, LOKOJA LGA ON EID FITRI

The leading House of Assembly Aspirant Lokoja 2 State Constituency, Hon Abdullahi Madami, has congratulated Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the people of Lokoja Local Government on the joyous occasion of Eid Fitri, emphasizing the importance of unity and community service.
In a statement, Hon Madami quoted the Quranic verse: 'And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression' (Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:2).
He also cited a Hadith: 'A Muslim is a brother to another Muslim; he does not oppress him, nor does he leave him without support' (Sahih Bukhari).
Hon Madami prayed for the nation's peace and prosperity, wishing everyone a blessed Eid Fitri celebration.
The aspirant urged Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on their actions and strive for self-improvement, kindness, and generosity.
"I commend Gov Ahmed Ododo's efforts towards community development and pray that Allah guides him to continue making Kogi State a better place," Hon Madami said.
He also called on the people of Lokoja to support his vision for the constituency, promising to prioritize education, healthcare, and economic empowerment if elected.
The aspirant wished everyone a happy and peaceful celebration.
