NYCN Kogi State Chapter Hosts Transformative Entrepreneurship Training Program

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Kogi State Chapter on Monday 16th February. 2026, hosted a transformative Entrepreneurship Development Training program, focusing on Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship, at the Kogi Youths House in the state capital on February 16th, 2026. The event, organized by State Treasurer Comr Abdullahi Madami, brought together stakeholders, dignitaries, and youths from across Kogi State.



The program featured enlightening guest speeches and engaging panel discussions, equipping attendees with practical skills to navigate the business world. Entertainment performances showcased local talent and fostered camaraderie among participants. Notably, scholarships were awarded to participants by Chairman Comr Bala Umar, a former NYCN Kogi State Chairman.


The event was graced by notable personalities, including Hon Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development; Hon Yakubu Adabenege Siaka, Auditor General Local Government Affairs ably represented, the Commissioner for Finance, Budgets and Planning Mukaddam Asiru Asiwaju ably represented,  the Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Youths and Students Matter Hon Oladele John Nihi;  the Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Youths and Women Mobilization Hon Charity Ijese Omole,  the House of Assembly Aspirant representing Lokoja 1 Hon Ibrahim Ozoko; Elder Opotu Haroun, Chairman Elders Council and Pioneer NYCN Chairman Kogi State; and representatives from various youth organizations.



"The success of this event is a testament to the collective efforts of our team and the unwavering support of our stakeholders," said Comr Abdullahi Madami, State Treasurer, NYCN Kogi State Chapter. "We're committed to continuing this momentum and creating more opportunities for Kogi youths."



The NYCN Kogi State Chapter remains steadfast in its mission to drive youth empowerment and development, building on this momentum to create lasting impact in the state.
