Chief Consultant International Market, Chief Babangida Jimoh, Receives Delegates of Lokoja Matters Amidst Controversy

Earlier, The Chief Consultant of Lokoja International Market, Chief Adama Babangida Jimoh (Daudu), has received the Delegates of Lokoja Matters, led by Team Leader Comr Umar Ali Yakubu, amidst ongoing disputes over the alleged illegal allocation of shops within the market and the alleged falseful negligence on the Maigari of Lokoja and the Lokoja Local Government Council.


The delegation paid a courtesy visit to Chief Babangida, who has been at the forefront of remodelling the market's activities and commended his efforts in transforming the market's operations.


According to sources, the delegates expressed their appreciation for Chief Babangida immense performances, which has led to improved facilities and services within the market.



The visit was also aimed at addressing the false rumors circulating about his role in the market's administration, particularly with regards to shop allocations and the falseful negligence of the Maigari of lokoja and the Lokoja Local Government Council.


Comr Umar Ali Yakubu, speaking on behalf of the delegation, denied allegations of unfair practices, stating that the Chief Consultant has been working tirelessly to ensure transparency and fairness in the market's operations.


The delegates urged the market stakeholders to ignore the malicious rumours and continue to support Chief Babangida efforts to develop the market.


The Chief Consultant, in his response, thanked the delegates for their support and assured them of his commitment to serving the market and its stakeholders.



The delegation in attendance is: the Representative  of the Maigari  of Lokoja who double of the Garkuwa Matassan  Lakwaja, Comr Umar Ali Yakubu, Comr Abubakar Datti, Comr Dan Maiyaki, Comr Osama, Comr Nasidi, Comr Alih Best Maiyaki amongst others.
