UDAMA IGALA ASSOCIATION CELELEBRATES UNITY AND HERITAGE AT 2025 GET- TOGETHER CEREMEONY

Udama Igala Association Lokoja, Kogi State, recently held its annual Get Together Ceremony for 2025 at Liberty Hotel Lokoja. The event brought together members of the Igala community, dignitaries, and special guests to celebrate unity, cultural heritage, and camaraderie.




In his address, Mall Saidu Agono, President of Udama Igala Association, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, noting that their presence underscored the importance of Igala unity and solidarity. "This gathering reaffirms our commitment to the values of our forebears – peace, progress, and togetherness," he said.



The event was graced by the Igala community in Lokoja, led by esteemed leaders who lauded the association's efforts in promoting Igala culture and supporting community development. Traditional performances, music, and cultural displays highlighted the rich heritage of the Igala people, making the event a memorable celebration of identity and brotherhood.



The association commended the Kogi State Government for its efforts in maintaining peace and security in the state, urging them to continue ensuring the safety of citizens and residents. "We appreciate the government's commitment to keeping Kogi State secure, and we encourage continued vigilance," Mall Agono stated.



The association used the platform to recognize outstanding members and partners, reinforcing their commitment to collective growth and progress. As the night unfolded, attendees enjoyed warm fellowship, reflecting the spirit of unity that defines the Udama Igala Association.


The event concluded with prayers for peace, prosperity, and continued solidarity among Igala kingdom and kogi state at large.
