NAPS Vice President National Affairs Hails Gov Ododo Over Historic NYSC Mobilization at College of Health Science and Technology Idah

 



Appeal Confirmation of Sanitarian Umar Anataku Shaibu as Provost.




The Vice President National Affairs of the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), Comr. Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende, extends his warmest congratulations to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on the historic mobilization of the first set of students from the Kogi State College of Health, Idah, for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after 47 remarkable years. This achievement is a testament to the governor's unwavering commitment to education and healthcare development in Kogi State.


In his statement released today,  Comr. Dende commended Governor Ododo for his swift response to the educational sector, noting that his administration has implemented policies with 100% dedication since taking office. 


"The mobilization of these students for NYSC marks a significant milestone, highlighting the college's potential to produce quality healthcare professionals who will contribute to the nation's healthcare needs", he said.


The success of this mobilization is a reflection of the governor's visionary leadership and dedication to empowering students. Comr. Dende noted that this achievement will have a lasting impact on the students, the institution, and the state as a whole.


In light of this achievement, Comr. Dende respectfully appeal to Governor Ododo to confirm Sanitarian Umar Anataku Shaibu as the Provost of the Kogi State College of Health, Idah from his current status of acting. 



Under his leadership, the institution has witnessed notable developmental innovations on campus, transforming the learning environment and enhancing the overall student experience.


He note that  confirming Sanitarian Umar Anataku Shaibu as Provost will undoubtedly boost the institution's growth, foster academic excellence and continue to produce quality healthcare professionals from the prestigious institution.

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) Senate President Comr Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende strongly condemns the recent tragic accident along the Felele-Ganaja highway, which claimed the lives of our students. This devastating incident is a stark reminder of the dire need for improved road safety measures in our community.
