HON. KOREDE PEDRO – A TRUE GEM, A WOMAN OF IMPACT!

By Solomon Ademola Isaac

Before the title, during the title, and long after the title—Hon. Korede Pedro has remained the same: selfless, compassionate, and deeply committed to the growth of her people. From the heartbeat of Ayetoro/Agirigbon Oke Ward II to the entire Ijumu land, her works are boldly written in the hearts of men.

Her kindness is top-notch, her generosity flows like a river, and her heart for humanity knows no season. Even without holding any political office today, she continues to lift others, empower dreams, and give hope. Just yesterday morning, I saw a flier announcing her plan to sponsor students for skills acquisition, and I smiled—because this is exactly who she is. She doesn’t serve because of the position; she serves because service is in her DNA.

From empowering the youth, supporting women and widows, caring for the elderly, and being a voice for the voiceless—her legacy is beyond politics. It’s a calling.

My prayer for you, Hon. Korede Pedro:

- May your fountain of kindness never run dry.

- May the Almighty reward you openly for the countless seeds you’ve sown in secret.

- May your name continue to open doors in high places.

- May joy, health, and long life be your portion.

- And may your light never dim, but shine brighter and brighter for generations to come.

Today and always, I celebrate you—a woman of impact, a pillar of hope, and a priceless treasure to Ayetoro/Agirigbon Oke Ward II and Ijumu at large.

We are proud of you.
