A New Era for Kogi State College of Health: NANS JCC Chairman Congratulates Gov Ododo on Landmark NYSC Achievement




The Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council (JCC) Kogi State Comr. Ojo Samuel Adeoye extends his warmest congratulations to the Executive Governor of Kogi State His Excellency Alhaji Comrade. Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA on the historic mobilization of the first set of students from the Kogi State College of Health, Idah, for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after an impressive 47-year wait. This remarkable achievement underscores the governor's unwavering commitment to education and healthcare development in Kogi State.


In his statement released through his chief press Secretary. Comr. Adeoye praised Governor Ododo's administration for its tireless efforts in revitalizing the educational sector, highlighting the governor's 100% dedication to policy implementation since taking office. The successful mobilization of these students for NYSC is a testament to the college's potential to produce high-caliber healthcare professionals who will significantly contribute to the nation's healthcare needs.


This milestone achievement reflects the governor's visionary leadership and commitment to empowering students, which will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the students, the institution, and the state. Comr. Adeoye emphasized that this accomplishment will further enhance the reputation of Kogi State College of Health, Idah, as a premier institution for healthcare education.


In light of this achievement, Comr. Adeoye respectfully appeal Governor Ododo to confirm Sanitarian Umar Anataku Shaibu as the Provost of the Kogi State College of Health, Idah. Under his leadership, the institution has undergone significant transformations, including notable developmental innovations on campus that have enhanced the learning environment and overall student experience.


 "Confirming Sanitarian Umar Anataku Shaibu as Provost will undoubtedly propel the institution's growth, foster academic excellence, and continue to produce quality healthcare professionals", he said .
