BREAKING NEWS: NAPS VP COMMENDS KOGI GOVT OVER TRUCK MOVEMENT SUSPENSION IN LOKOJA

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) Vice President National Affairs, Comr Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende has commended the Kogi State Government for suspending the movement of trucks in Lokoja.
These was stated yesterday at the State Executive Council held in Kogi State Government House Lokoja where his Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo FCA the Executive Governor of Kogi State approved it among those requests from the Kogi State House of Assembly.
He added that these trucks had caused significant damage and accidents along the Okene-Felele-Abuja Highway, a critical route that hosts two prominent educational institutions: Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja and Federal University Lokoja.
He praises the government's proactive approach, stating that the suspension will help reduce traffic congestion, enhance road safety, and improve the overall quality of life for residents, particularly students of these institutions.
The NAPS VP's commendation highlights the government's commitment to addressing citizen concerns and promoting welfare.
This decision is expected to positively impact the community, ensuring a safer and more conducive environment for students and residents.
