NAPS Senate President Hails Gov Aiyedatiwa: 'A New Dawn for Education in Ondo State.

 




The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) Senate President, Comr Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende, has commended the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for approving the sum of ₦633 million to cover WAEC fees for 23,048 secondary school students in the state.


This gesture, according to Comr Dende, demonstrates Governor Aiyedatiwa's commitment to education and the welfare of his constituents.

 "We are thrilled to see a leader who prioritizes the future of our youth," Comr Dende said. "This move will undoubtedly ease the burden on parents and guardians, allowing more students to access quality education."


The NAPS Senate President noted that the payment of WAEC fees for 23,048 students is a significant investment in the education sector, and will have a positive impact on the lives of the students and their families.


Comr Dende also praised Governor Aiyedatiwa's administration for its efforts to improve the education sector in Ondo State, citing initiatives such as the renovation of schools, provision of educational materials, and training of teachers.


The NAPS Senate President urged other state governments to emulate Governor Aiyedatiwa's example, saying that "investing in education is investing in the future of our nation." He emphasized the importance of education in driving economic growth, reducing poverty, and promoting social mobility.


Comr Dende concluded by thanking Governor Aiyedatiwa for his vision and leadership, saying that "NAPS will continue to support and partner with leaders who share our passion for education and youth development."
