The NAPS Senate President-Elect, Comr. Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende, has congratulated the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. Usman Salisu Ogbo, on his successful completion of his first tenure in office.


Comr. Dende praised Prof. Ogbo's leadership, citing his numerous achievements in infrastructure development, academic excellence, and staff development.


He commended Prof. Ogbo's commitment to promoting quality education and academic excellence, and expressed his desire to work with him to achieve even greater heights in the future.

  The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) vehemently condemns the protracted and unjust detention of Abdulhameed Sadiq, a recent graduate of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja and a full supporter of this great administration , known as "KogiBorn." For five months, Mr. Sadiq has been held without trial or conviction, ostensibly due to a Facebook post critiquing the conduct of the Kogi State Accountant General toward public service holder's. This detention represents a flagrant violation of fundamental rights and an alarming overreach of authority.NAPS urgently calls upon the Kogi State Government to: 1.
