FLAG-OFF OF GOV. ODOODO'S ORPHANAGE SCHEME GOOS CARE: A LANDMARK EVENT IN KOGI STATE

The Kogi State Forum of Local Government Special Assistants, under the dynamic leadership of Hon. Jafar Kamarudeen, has successfully flagged off Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's Orphanage Scheme!
This groundbreaking initiative is a testament to the Governor's unwavering commitment to supporting vulnerable populations across the state, particularly at the grassroots level. The scheme aims to provide essential support and resources to those in need, ensuring that no one is left behind.
The event, which took place on today 25 January 2025 at Glass House Lokoja was honored by prominent personalities from across the state, including:
- *The Former House of Representatives Lokoja Koto Federal Constituency Hon Nasiru Ajanah who commended Governor Ododo's administration for its proactive approach to addressing the needs of vulnerable citizens.
- *The Auditor General Local Government Hon Yakubu Adabenege Siaka Fancy*who praised the Governor's commitment to the welfare of the state's most vulnerable populations and urged all stakeholders to support the initiative.
- *The Kogi State APC Youths Leader Hon Mohammed U Mohammed*who lauded Governor Ododo's leadership and vision, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in promoting social justice and equality.
- The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on youths and women mobilization Hon. charity Ijese who commend him for making a one year fruitiness in office full of punctual legacies which can't be overemphasize.
In their goodwill messages, the invited personalities commended Governor Ododo's administration for its efforts in improving the lives of Kogi State citizens. They urged all stakeholders to support the Orphanage Scheme, emphasizing its potential to transform the lives of vulnerable populations.
As Special Assistants, we are proud to be part of this journey and are committed to ensuring that the Orphanage Scheme reaches those who need it most. We will work tirelessly to guarantee that the Governor's vision becomes a reality, and that the people of Kogi State benefit from this initiative.
The program was honored by secondary schools and orphanage homes across Kogi State.
On behalf of the Orphanage Homes presence, Yekope and Rehoboth Children Home in remarks, appreciate his Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for imposing generosity as a Legacy among the vulnerable, as these as makes history amongst the life's of unknown and the abandoned to smile once again.
