Dr. Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade Endorse GOOS-Care

 



It is with great pleasure that I, Dr. Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade, State Government Secretary, Kogi State, officially endorses the Governor Ododo's Orphan Students Care (GOOS-Care) initiative. This laudable project, championed by the Kogi State Forum of Local Government Special Assistants, demonstrates a genuine commitment to the welfare and education of orphaned and indigent students in our great state.


The GOOS-Care initiative aligns perfectly with our administration's vision to provide access to quality education for all, regardless of socio-economic background. I commend the Forum for their tireless efforts in conceiving and implementing this project, which will undoubtedly have a transformative impact on the lives of countless young people.


As the Secretary to the State Government, I pledge my unwavering support for the GOOS-Care initiative and look forward to collaborating with the Forum to ensure its successful implementation. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our children and propel Kogi State towards a brighter future.

PRESS STATEMENT: UNLAWFUL DETENTION OF KOGI STATE POLYTECHNIC GRADUATE, ABDULHAMEED SADIQ: AN URGENT CALL FOR INTERVENTION BY THE KOGI STATE GOVERNOR

  The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) vehemently condemns the protracted and unjust detention of Abdulhameed Sadiq, a recent graduate of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja and a full supporter of this great administration , known as "KogiBorn." For five months, Mr. Sadiq has been held without trial or conviction, ostensibly due to a Facebook post critiquing the conduct of the Kogi State Accountant General toward public service holder's. This detention represents a flagrant violation of fundamental rights and an alarming overreach of authority.NAPS urgently calls upon the Kogi State Government to: 1.
