APC Students Support Groups Inauguration Ceremony Holds in APC party Secretariat Lokoja!

The National Inauguration Ceremony of the APC Students Support Groups took place on 20th December 2024 at the State party Secretariat in Lokoja, marking a significant milestone in the party's efforts to engage with students and youths.


   The event was recorded with high ranking personified dignitaries which includes; the Kogi State APC Chairman Hon Abdullahi Bello ably represented by his Zonal Chairman Kogi West, the Kogi State APC Youths Leader Hon Mohammed U Mohammed, the Deputy Coordinator NANS Zone C, the National President ANFS Comr Princess Omoniyi Alice  the National President National Association of Lokoja Local Government Students, NANS JCC Secretary General Bayelsa State, Delegates of Zonal Executives of the Group amongst others.


The New Elected Executives received the oats of office by the Kogi State Party Chairman.


In quest, the National President APC SSG Comr John Omolaiye commend the outstanding performance of his Excellency the President Federal Republic of Nigeria Alhaji Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and his Excellency Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo their tireless efforts in promoting the party's vision and progress through implementation and Development in the state and country at large.


    He makes his speech of the foundation of the Platform as it comes into existence 2014 during the nurturing of the All Progressive Congress as a pillar candle to light up tje Students wing in the beautiful shape it has today.


   In addition, he commended the pioneer National President who double as the Senior Special Assistance to Idah LGA Chairman on Information, Strategy and Communication, Hon Prince Bala Eleojo, and the immediate past National President Comr Mardiyat Aliyu for their outstanding performance so far in driving the course of this Organization to a yield harvest land of fruits they are cultivating today.


  The APC SSG National President gives kudus to  Gov. Ododo for been a strong advocate for youth empowerment, and his administration has made significant strides in this area. His commitment to including youth in his administration has been praised by stakeholders, who have described his efforts as "impressive".


   Comr John also stated that  the Kogi APC Chairman has also played a crucial role in mobilizing party support and promoting unity among members. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the party's structures and preparing for future elections.


“The Kogi APC Youths Leader, Hon Mohammed U Mohammed, has also been instrumental in mobilizing youth support for the party. His leadership and vision have been a beacon of hope for many young people in Kogi State.”, he said.


During the inauguration ceremony, the APC Students Support Groups pledged to promote patriotic values, support the party's vision for a better Nigeria, and mobilize students' support for the APC.


In remarks the APC Party Chairman Kogi State stated that they celebrate the progress made so far and look forward to seeing the impact of the APC Students Support Groups in promoting patriotic values and supporting the party's vision for a better Nigeria.





The event was pivoted with award presentations, Magazine Launching, Goodwill messages and Entertainment.

GOVERNMENT MUST ACT NOW:NAPS Senate President Condemns Felele-Ganaja Highway Accident

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) Senate President Comr Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende strongly condemns the recent tragic accident along the Felele-Ganaja highway, which claimed the lives of our students. This devastating incident is a stark reminder of the dire need for improved road safety measures in our community. We are deeply saddened by the loss of young lives, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims. However, our condolences are not enough. Therefore, We demand action from our government to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.
