Arewa Youths Consultative Council Kogi State Chapter condemns fuel pump price hike, urges FG to reverse decision.

 




The hike will worsen economic hardship. We demand reversal, stakeholder engagement, and palliatives - State Coordinator.



The State Coordinator Arewa Youths Consultative Council (AYCC) Kogi State Chapter Ambassador Usman Ibrahim Dende is deeply concerned and disappointed by the recent hike in fuel pump prices. This sudden increase will have far-reaching consequences on the already struggling economy and further exacerbate the hardship faced by ordinary Nigerians.


   In his statement this morning in Lokoja, Amb Ibrahim Dende urge the Federal Government to immediately reverse this decision and consider the welfare of the citizens. 



   He added that the hike will lead to increased transportation costs, higher prices of goods and services, and reduced purchasing power for millions of Nigerians.



    The Coordinator however draw the ears of the Federal Government to reverse the fuel pump price hike, engage with stakeholders to find alternative solutions, and provide palliatives to cushion the effects of the hike.


“We will continue to monitor the situation and explore all options to ensure the welfare of our people.”



   Amb Ibrahim Dende formally Commend Kogi State Governor Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo (FCA) for his proactive measures in ensuring the hikes doesn't disrupt the economic growths in the state.


   While urging him to keep using his tentacles towards fostering innovative solution in our dear state.
