Ladies and Gentlemen, we bring you solidarity greetings from National Association of North Central Indigenous Students NANCIS under leadership of Comr. Uthman Muhammad (Fodio).


We have received with a very sour taste the recent robbery menace by some uncommon elements in disrupting the lives of students at the Prestigious Federal University Lokoja Felele Campus to extend of lingering the peaceful atmospheric environment into another segment of horrors.


    This is indeed so sadden as it has been a habitat upon those uncommon elements making themselves as the devil works shop.



    At this junction, we implore the management of Federal University Lokoja as well as the Kogi State Government led by Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo CIA, the Executive Governor of Kogi state to look inward in putting this occurrence to an end.



     We really appreciate the swing actions revealed by the CTC Combative Chairman Lokoja LGA, Comr Abdullahi Adamu in restricting the movement at night at these metropolitan areas, we implore him to do more as matter of urgency in ensuring this agents are brought to book.



Unequivocally and in unison, we shall make a step forward in collaboration with other sisters organization, if the management give a deaf ear this time around and by the virtue of this press release notify the Kogi State Government, Management of Federal University Lokoja, Security Agencies and Masses of our stand and position.


It is our hope that this emergence is treated with a commitment and seriousness, but when push comes to shove, we are ready to hold the bull by the horn. Emphatically, we re-emphasize once again that the Kogi State Government should show more commitment to the oath of protecting and defending the interest and welfarism of the Students which they swore to.


We enjoin all students in the Federal University Lokoja to remain law abiding and peacefully stay at alert and on the look out for instructions from it's leadership as events unfolds. When it becomes inevitable, the call to action will be made.


We are Nigerian students and education is our right.
