EASTER: EMULATE CHRIST, SACRIFICE FOR ONE ANOTHER, MOHAB TELLS CHRISTIANS

 


The Management team of Mohab People's Care Foundation has urged Christians as the world celebrates Easter to imbibe Jesus Christ's spirit of humility, love and sacrifice during and after the celebration of his death and resurrection. 


This statement was delivered by the CEO and Managing Director, Comr Chukwuemeka Muhammed Abubakar stated  this in his Easter message congratulate all Christians at home and in the diaspora for successfully completing the 40 days Lent and witnessing yet, another Easter celebration.


 He equally noted that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ according to Christian teachings, through the sadness, pain and despair of the Crucifixion, also embodied hope, liberation and victory over darkness, as evidenced in the Resurrection.


Adding that through tough and calm times, people of faith have an example to emulate. "Easter is a pointer to the power of hope, and a demonstration that sacrifice ultimately brings liberation and victory".


"Just as Jesus Christ in His humility and love offered Himself for the redemption of mankind, I beseech us all to emulate Him and make sacrifices for one another."


He urges Christians faithful to use this opportunity to pray to God Almighty who has brought us this far to continue blessing our State as we march onward in fulfillment of our collective vision for a new, truly united, strong and prosperous State.
