Kogi State Chief of Staff Ali Bello Sends his condolences with Bashir Gegu over the death of his father

The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor Chief Hon. Ali Bello has sent his personal condolences to the Honorable Commissioner of Solids Mineral and Natural Resources Hon Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu and his family on the passing of his father, Alhaji Abubakar.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the Chief of Staff said: “It is a terrible tragedy that each of us must face in our lives, yet there is never a way to prepare ourselves for the agonizing loss of a parent.”

Adding that Alhaji Abubakar’s contribution to industrial relations must never be forgotten, the Chief of Staff said.

“I read today of Engr Bashir Gegu’ words as his father passed away; that his advice always boiled down to: be able to walk with people of high calibers but maintain the common touch. He had a lot of pride. He worked very hard for us.”

“Indeed, as  a father to an upstanding and gentle person like Engr Bashir Gegu, Alhaji Abubakar was a man who lived by principle, and he did our nation proud.”

“On behalf of my family, the Government and indeed every citizen of our dear Kogi State, I pray for God’s comfort to the Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu's family and that Alhaji Abubakar’ may find peace,” Chief Bello stated
