Sagi (Aluwo) felicitates with MAIGARI IV on his turbaning ceremony

 



The Sagi of Lokoja, Hajiya Hawakulu Ndambabo congratulate the new MAIGARI of LOKOJA Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir IV on his turbaning ceremony as the 4th MAIGARI of LOKOJA, the former colonial capital of Nigeria. 


She urges the New traditional Head of Lokoja to emulate the good virtues of the late MAIGARI of LOKOJA.

 

The Sagi of Lokoja also commends his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for approving the choice of Lokoja people for the throne. 


While praying for peace, growth and development under the new MAIGARI, she urges the people of Lokoja especially women to support him in all aspects of life.

PRESS STATEMENT: UNLAWFUL DETENTION OF KOGI STATE POLYTECHNIC GRADUATE, ABDULHAMEED SADIQ: AN URGENT CALL FOR INTERVENTION BY THE KOGI STATE GOVERNOR

  The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) vehemently condemns the protracted and unjust detention of Abdulhameed Sadiq, a recent graduate of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja and a full supporter of this great administration , known as "KogiBorn." For five months, Mr. Sadiq has been held without trial or conviction, ostensibly due to a Facebook post critiquing the conduct of the Kogi State Accountant General toward public service holder's. This detention represents a flagrant violation of fundamental rights and an alarming overreach of authority.NAPS urgently calls upon the Kogi State Government to: 1.
