The AYCC State Coordinator Kogi State Chapter, has congratulated Alhaji Gambo, on his turbaning ceremony as the fourth, “Maigari of Lokoja”.

 



     In a statement, today Thursday 18th January 2024, the State Coordinator Arewa Youths Consultative Council AYCC Kogi State commended his Royal Highness Alhaji Gambo Kabir Bagardoji The forth Maigari of Lokoja, for the recognition and honour conferred on him by the Lokoja Traditional Council. This event was held at the Maigari Palace Lokoja.


    In his statement signed by his Media Assistant, Comr Balogun Boluwatife, he said that, the  eminent personalities across the country and the crowd that witnessed the turbaning of this great scintillator , on Wednesday, was a testimony of his good work and contribution to the Lokoja local Government.


“I want to congratulate HRH. Alhaji Gambo Kabir (Bagardoji) for this new official assignment given to me. This is another testimony to the fact that he is loved by the Indigenous people of the constitutents he is representing. I urge him to work harder because the reward of hard work is more work,” Ibrahim said.


“This also testifies to the fact that people appreciate what you have done and still doing for the state and mostly Lokoja LGA. This new assignment  should further reinvigorate you to do more for posterity.


“On behalf of Arewa Youths Consultative Council AYCC Kogi State Chapter , congratulations!”


 The Coordinator added that the monarch has served the state and humanity meritoriously.

GOVERNMENT MUST ACT NOW:NAPS Senate President Condemns Felele-Ganaja Highway Accident

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) Senate President Comr Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende strongly condemns the recent tragic accident along the Felele-Ganaja highway, which claimed the lives of our students. This devastating incident is a stark reminder of the dire need for improved road safety measures in our community. We are deeply saddened by the loss of young lives, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims. However, our condolences are not enough.
