   The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) Kogi State Comr  Salau Enesi Habib congratulates Nigeria on its 64th Independence Day anniversary. This milestone marks Nigeria's journey since gaining independence on October 1, 1960.    In his statement, he said that: “As Kogi State celebrates this significant day, it's essential to reflect on its rich history. Originally part of the Northern Region, Kogi State was formed in 1991 from parts of Benue, Niger, and Kwara states. Today, it's known as the "Confluence State" due to the River Niger and River Benue's intersection near its capital, Lokoja”. On this special day, Comr Salau Enesi Habib encourages Nigerians to unite, promote peace, and work towards a brighter future.  The CNG Kogi State chairman's message emphasizes the importance of national unity and progress. May this milestone mark renewed hope, unity, and progress for our great nation, Amen!!! Happy 64th Independence Day, Nigeria!

   By Usman Ibrahim Dende.       The Kogi State Youths Leader of the All Progressive Congress APC, Hon Mohammed U Mohammed has come out strongly against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) sentimental and mishandling investigations, calling it a witch-hunt and rejecting it entirely. This statement is in response to the EFCC's investigation into alleged financial mismanagement in Kogi State, which has been a subject of controversy. In response to the recent fire outbreaks that have ravaged various parts of the state, Comr Habib Salau Enesi the Kogi State Coordinator Coalition of Northern Groups CNG, has made a passionate appeal to the Kogi State Government and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to provide urgent support to the affected victims. Many individuals have lost their means of livelihood and are struggling to cope with the devastating aftermath. Comr Habib Salau Enesi is calling for immediate intervention to help these victims regain their footing and rebuild their lives. 'I implore the state government and NEMA to swiftly provide relief materials and support to these victims, who are facing unimaginable hardship,' he said. 'We must work together to restore hope and light in their lives, and help them overcome this dark period.'
