  We the under signed are Traditional Chiefs and Elders in ljalu Community Egbe.  We particularly represent lwoye Group of Families in ljalu made up of Oke Iwoye lgbase and Odo Iwoye whose turn it rightly is to produce the candidate to fill the vacant stool of Ighare of ljalu and Asalu of Egbeland.  We wish to say that we have gone through the publication of a group of Chiefs and Elders titled "ljalu Community Egbe cautions Chief Adedoyin Bolaji and his group over war mongering.  We wish to say with emphasis that the signatories to the publication do not represent the entire ljalu but only the group loyal to Mr. Sunday Oluokun who belongs INTA group of families to which the late occupant of that stool, His Highness Oba JB Adeyemi who occupied the stool for over 35 years.  While we do not intent to dissipate energy defending the sterling qualities of HRH Oba Adedoyin Bolaji and his immense contribution to the development, progress and stability of Egbeland, it is...

The Coordinator CNG Kogi State Comr Habib Salau Enesi condemned the Blackout Menace

   Adding that it has crippled the atmospheric pressure of the Northern Nigeria. The Coordinator of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) in Kogi State, has condemned the recent blackout curtains, describing it as an attack on Northern states.    In his statement earlier, he emphasized that the blackout curtains have significant implications for the region's economy, security, and overall well-being. He urged the relevant authorities to treat this issue with the urgency it deserves. "The North will no longer tolerate such deliberate attempts to undermine our progress. This milestone marks Nigeria's journey since gaining independence on October 1, 1960.    In his statement, he said that: “As Kogi State celebrates this significant day, it's essential to reflect on its rich history. Originally part of the Northern Region, Kogi State was formed in 1991 from parts of Benue, Niger, and Kwara states. Today, it's known as the "Confluence State" due to the River Niger and River Benue's intersection near its capital, Lokoja”.
